SYWARE News: SYWARE Inc.'s Visual CE is Finalist in Smartphone and Pocket PC Magazine's 2007 Best Software Awards.

Each year since 2000 Smartphone and Pocket PC magazine's Annual Best Software Awards help users select software that best suits their Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Smartphone needs by honoring companies that produce outstanding software. Even if Visual CE hadn't won in the database category the last three years and wasn't a finalist again this year in the Pocket PC / Information Managers / Database category, we'd still recommend that you spend a few moments looking over the nominees!

The integration of Google Maps Mobile with Visual CE means developers can quickly create map-enabled, mobile database applications for end users. For example, an inspection company can create a database application that allows inspectors to find directions to the site they are to inspect. Find out more by reading the press release and last month's tip of the month.

This month's tip describes how to create Visual CE forms that run on a desktop computer using local or remote data.
